Not Splitting George Clooney And Elisabetta Canalis According to reports, George Clooney has dumped Elisabetta Canalis, his Italian girlfriend. Clooney has long been known for remaining single and never marrying. The last time the couple was spotted together publicly was at the Oscar’s last month. According to sources, the break up is closely related to the amount of partying Canalis has been taking part in during recent months. “George loved her, but didn’t want that lifestyle,” a source close to the couple told Britain’s Grazia magazine. “They’d been on the rocks since February.”

The two were spotted at the awards ceremony together, but reportedly did not attend any after parties with one another. Shortly after the awards ceremony was over, George reportedly took a jet to Hawaii alone and the two have not been together much in recent weeks. Clooney has quoted in the past that he is not fond of the partying life style, and would prefer to spend his time at home. It was not immediately clear if the two of them have spoke in recent weeks, or even when the break up supposedly occurred. “Priorities change as you get older,” Clooney revealed in an interview “You find that the older you get, the more you are able to participate in other parts of society. The more sort of secure you are in your career the more you focus on other issues.”

Some sources have claimed that Canalis also had problems with Clooney’s relationships with several other women in his life. This reasoning behind their break up has not been discussed publicly by the couple. Sources have claimed that Canalis, at time, can be “possessive” but was “crazy about George.” Representative for both Clooney and Canalis have not commented on the reports that have surfaced in recent days.
